How it all started

Why do I bother to make a homepage about cats? Well they are more than just cats, they are Balinese and Angoras, (semi-longhair Siamese and Oriental). They like to take walks with the dogs, myself and the goat. They want to take part in everything you do and want to help you any way they can, (their way). They assist me when I am spinning and give me the extra exercise I need by scattering the wool all around the house. They like to walk on my fax machine, and they know where the button is that makes the paper come out. I´m just waiting for the day when they lift the reciever and dial a number to a cat loving prince...
If you prefer your home to look like a show house, you should switch to another site. With a Balinese or Angora, your home may not be tidy, but you will always be loved by purring, cuddly, furry friends and your life will be full of surprises.
How did I get into all this? Eona, Elly, Rob Roy, Little Cockie and the others actually saved my life. I have to thank Destiny to having these wonderful cats.
   Why don´t you try it?

How it all started

A turtle was all I was allowed to have as a pet when I was a child. When I was a teenager I bought myself a dog, just a small one, hoping my parents wouldn«t mind too much. They did mind. Either the dog had to go or the two of us. We both left. Since that day I have shared my life with all sorts of animals. I took care of two mistreated Siamese and when Charlie died at sixteen years old I just had to get another one, quick. There were no Siamese babies around at the time, but there were two Balinese boys. Could I think about breeding? I was breeding Angora rabbits already for the wool.
I asked around, I could not get a suitable girl in Sweden, then found just what I wanted from Sylvia Smith in England.
At the same time I became very ill in the form of a quick and nasty MS and ended up as a vegetable in an electric wheelchair. Now what? I loved my cats and did not want to give them up, so I just had to survive. The doctors could not do more. Sytostatica and high doses of cortezone made me look like a pig, (sorry pigs, I do like you but I don«t want to look like you, Okey).
I heared about a Reiki therapist. I met her, I got better and learned how to treat myself and others even over a long distance. I am out of the wheelchair now and I like to teach others how to heal themselves. If you want to know more about Reiki:

My cattery now has Balinese and Angoras, also in the household you will find two dogs, Cassie and Gizmo, a few Angora rabbits and an Angora goat, Chris, and of course Alec, my cockerel. Alec loves to watch over the kittens. If you would like to se him and a few kittens Click here.

On the following pages you can see a few more of my cats, but you will have to excuse me as I am not a photographer but please enjoy yourself.
